I believe i have mede something hat will drastically help LDers. All you need is something that plays .mp3 files, and speakers. It plays silence for 4 1/2 hours then plays a tone for 90 seconds, then it plays silence for 1 1/2 hours then plays the same tone. This is wonderful because almost all LD techniques are improved 100 fold when you fall asleep in 1-2 minutes. The problem with alarm clocks is that you have to move to turn them off. While this turns off automatically. I made this with the program with audacity. Tomorrow at 6:45 in the morning (Pacific time) I will post the link here. |

Tried this out the other night and it worked well for me. I can't wear headphones to sleep, so I tied the cord around my bed post and left the earbuds on full volume pointed at my head, so it still woke me up at the appointed times. |

Hey im going to try this tonight. Only thing is the beep goes for so long when I wake up in the middle of the night wont it wake me up a lot? |
|
I'll be trying it tonight. Will report tomorrow morning. By the way could you tell me how you made this? I'd like to make a shorter one with shorter intervals. |
|
How is this groundbreaking and how is it any different from other audio files on this site? |

So basically this is like a DEILD Alarm? There are a lot of things like this out there.. However, I will give it a try, and thanks for sharing it. I think I will make the intervals shorter though. |

I found the alarm a bit too long, couldn't stand the ninety seconds listing to it. but I'm going to try again tonight. |
|
Haha I tried it last night and I woke up... Im not sure if it was from the alarm or just me knowing I had to get up because it was at a time when the alarm was not set to go off lol |
