Calea Z is suppose to be an REM supressor. I'm not sure how it works in that regard, but I would assume it has a dramatic rebound effect much like melatonin. |

Anyone had any experience with it? |

I've tried it... Didn't really work for me. But I only tried it once. It tasted awful. I literally almost threw up. It's cheap though and worth a try if you're willing to give it a whirl. |

where would i get it? |

You can buy it online. That's really the only place that I know of. When I was back at school some kid had it and let me try it out. |

I found both Calea zacatechichi and Silene capensis at my local apothecary, but maybe you have to live in a self-consciously weird city like Portland, Oregon to have a local apothecary that stocks this stuff. I found the store by searching "herbs" on Yelp. I thought it was amusing that they kept both the dream herbs in the same case as the Salvia divinorum (an herb that, after spending hours one night reading trip reports on Erowid with horrified fascination, I have vowed never, ever to try. Dreaming is fine, but I don't *really* need to meet powerful Outsiders.) |
