Can you fall asleep in Lucid Dreams? If so, what are the results?
Although I've never fallen asleep in a lucid dream, I have in a non lucid. I had a false awakening, didn't realize I was dreaming, and decided to do a WILD. It worked. It led to a change in scenes and as a result, a lucid.
Because of that, I believe that falling asleep in a lucid would just lead to a change in scenes. Whether or not you'd retain lucidity, who knows?
Yeah, if you go to sleep in a dream you'll probably just lose your lucidity and dream that you woke up. Or you might actually wake up.
In my experience... anytime I lay down.. or remind myself that I am sleeping.. I physically wake up... So the idea I think is to stay as far away from these thoughts of sleeping, or reminding yourself that you are sleeping as much as possible.. But this may not be the case for everyone..
You can lose lucidity if you manage to open your eyes again and are still in the dream. You could also end up in your bed in a false awakening with or without lucidity, or even worse: actually wake up.
I have also had an FA and then attempted to WILD when I thought I was awake. Instead of going to a dream I had an OBE inside my dream to obviously it wasn't real. My dream self was lucid but I wasn't.
I went to bed one time in a dream (non lucid) because I was tired when I was done tossing and turning and fell asleep I woke up hope that helps a little.
I tried to sleep once in a lucid dream. I couldnt fall asleep so i got up and started talking to people in the dream.
You can't have a dream within a dream. You can have False Awakenings but those are unrelated because you aren't awakening from a dream dream, your dream is simply shifting into a new situation.
In my experience, you lose lucidity.
