...I saw my friend's(unknown in real life) leg being broken laying there in a very strange-cartoon-like- way and then I realised and voiced it out loud; Legs can't be broken like that! This must be a dream! Then the rest of the dream, after a small move of mine, started to move and then fade in the background, except from myself and my friend. At the same time, and being so frustrated, I said to myself that I d better wake up. As I was leaving the dream state though, I paused for a sec and said to myself "wait, this is a dream" thinking of the unlimited possibilities and here's where the strange part comes in;
Thinking that somehow stopped me from waking up, and I was in a very strange state. Believe me, I ve been half awake or half asleep or whatever many times so I am certain it was nothing like that. If anything, I was both asleep and awake. My mind had awoken enough to be fully my awake myself, mentally speaking and yet I was still in my dream in the same situation I was when I forced my dream to end, with absolutely no awareness of the "real" world.
