Conversations With Yourself

As lucid dreaming occurs, one of my favorite things to do is to talk to my dream characters. This allows me to take a look in my self concious. I want to see my very thought patterns, and what creates the logic expressed in my life. I made this thread so everyone can express the things they discover.

For example- just today I had a lucid nap, where I started off in my old home back in Maryland (I now live in Mississippi), and I explore the home. I have fond memories, then leave. I go to my best friend's house, and surprised him at his door. Somewhere between my old house and his house, I became Lucid. He shouts to his parents that I am there, and they run to the door in surprise. I convey that I am actually asleep, and they seem to believe me. I say that there are two possibilities: either one of them are asleep too and we are haveing a shared dream, or thr more likely possibility that they are just reflexions of myself, conveyed in different ways. I decide the latter is the case and decide to ask "myself" a philosophical question. I ask: "What is the reality of death?". My friend (who i realize represents my matter of factly self) states the obvious, your either dead or alive. His father, however, states that you can also be an earthquake or a construction worker on the road that is death. I can tear it down and stop it, or I can create it, the choice is given to us, but we sometimes dont realize it. A basic, obvious answer, but still an answer.
