Well, that was trippy - Sea of Sound
So this morning I tried WBTB, and had a really strange experience. I felt the heavy, relaxed feeling of SP and then floated upward out of my body for a few seconds, then this strange sound started to grow. First it was almost silent, but it began to get louder and louder. It was like a mixture of radio static and the sound you hear when wind is blowing past your ears. Then I floated back to my bed, and sort of... hovered less than an inch over it.
I then realized that I could control how loud the sound could get, with my mind. I wanted to see how far I could take it, and willed it to become louder. It grew louder, then suddenly, it felt like my room was quickly filling with water. (I couldn't actually see during the dream). The more my room filled up, the louder the sound became. I felt the liquid rise up my body, and when it reached my ears... if that was real sound, I would've become deaf by the time I woke up. It sounded like I was in the middle of a tornado, it was so loud. And the water kept rising, making the sound even louder than it already was, which was saying something. What's funny was it felt like I was floating in water, and I could tell where the level was, but I didn't actually feel wet. And I could breathe underwater as well, which I got a kick out of at the time. :P
I could've made the sound even louder, but instead I tried to move around so I wasn't in my bed anymore, but that woke me up. I've had auditory hallucinations in dreams before, but that was intense.
