I need to share this; something about my LD clarity/awareness?

Hi guys. This has been bothering me for quite some time. Every lucid dream I have ever had (about 6) has always been low quality, low control lucid dreams. (They were all DILDs) Like, once I become lucid, I never stop and look around me. I can never examine anything. It's like it's not ME controlling my actions in the dream. I can't explain it. I am lucid, I'm just never able to control myself or really FEEL things. I never feel changes in temperatures, it's just like a regular dream except with an RC I can actually feel. It's really weird. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Do you think it's just how a DILD is? Will my clarity and vividness and feelingness get better over time? My lucid dreams aren't as fun as people say they are for some reason.

A lot of my first ones were similar. I would wake up very soon or not be able to really control anything. Its getting a lot better now and I can controll things but still do have a bit of trouble. Like I just cant get the hang of flying! But im sure youl get better with more practice. During the day when you RC, try to imagine yourself touching things and emersing your senses into the environment.

Sometimes, it just takes time, practice. Like going to the gym. Persistence. One can practice awareness control while awake, a light finger touch to the closed eye lid, and just concentrate on what you see, blocking everything else out.
