Hey, I had the same thing happen to me in a lucid, just the other day.
Disassembling them usually helps.
Thats freaky. But Dont let it turn you off dreaming, I probably wont even happen again. :whyme: BUUUT if your lucid just kill the zombie thing. if your not to badly startled.Quote:

If it pops up again, think to yourself and wish that you don't want it to be here. It will go away if you will it to enough. After, tell yourself it is completely gone, and it will never appear in your dreams ever again.
That, or summon a chainsaw and slash it to bits next time :D
That has never happened to me but when I think of things like that then I just imagine it being funny so like if I think of a scary ghost or something like that, then right after that I think of the ghost to look like ghostbusters or if I think of a demon, then I think of it smiling and doing a funny dance. :P
Experts say that you should confront dream bad guys. If you are lucid, you know that they can't harm you. Ask them what they want. Ask them what they are trying to teach you.
Often dream characters are aspects of ourselves that are trying to get attention -- neglected parts of our personalities, abandoned talents, unfulfilled needs. Dreams have meaning.
That's scary, but don't let that get you away from LDing. I doubt it will happen again.
Use your surroundings to fight the beast. Like if their was a hatchet cut him into tiny little pieces or basically confront him/her and ask why it's scaring you.
Sometimes if something scares me and I'm lucid, I tell them, "stop scaring me or you won't be allowed in my dreams anymore." Sounds stupid, but it works. Make sure you're confident and assertive when you say it.
Giving this a bump into the Lucid Experiences forum :D Carry on, folks!
You're on a roll, boss.Quote:

make use of the harmless opportunity to face the harmful fears
Don't let one scary dream deter you from wanting to dream at all!
I suggest reading up on some dream control techniques. Confronting your nightmares can be a huge confidence boost as well :)
This has happened to me a few times, the first time I asked them to tell me the funniest joke they know and they all looked at me blankly. Another time I asked their names and they were all words begining with 'S' that ive never heard before. Use it as a trigger to remember that your dreaming and maintaining your lucidity rather than letting it scare you :) It can be quite amusing sometimes
This morning at 5am I basically had a False awakening which turned into a Sleep Paralysis nightmare
I "woke up" thinking it was real life, then a force (like the force you experience as you're in SP and entering a LD) grabbed my legs, pulled me outta my bed and into the lounge, and started spinning me around! Sounds stupid but I was scared shitless. I mean, I thought it was real life! xD I tried to scream, blink forcefully, but nothing could wake me.
Eventually, I accepted nothing I could do could stop this invisible force so I let it do its thing, and eventually my dream changed.
Anyway, getting to the point lol a while into my sleep it started to happen again. I was like "shit" so i randomly started picturing myself tapdancing and the invisible force couldn't get me while I was doing it LOL, problem solved!
So, tl;dr
HUMOUR SOLVES NIGHTMARES! :D
