Are these real DILD's?
A couple of weeks ago I claimed to have my first real lucid dream from a DILD. But after a dream I had during a nap today, I don't know whether or not it was a true DILD. Today, I dreamnt that I was laying in my bed looking out my window, for some reason I did a nose plug RC and it worked, I remember struggling in the dream to move and stabilize. I'm not sure if I was just dreaming about lucid dreaming, or if I was actually conscious and aware of myself dreaming. At a later point in the dream, I remember saying to myself, this is a dream, I need to become lucid, or something along those lines. I tried jumping and looking at my hands, but it all faded away.
These were still dreamlike, extremely fuzzy/unclear, and I didn't become more aware or conscious.
Are these still DILDs technically? Even if I was just dreaming about lucid dreaming? Sorry if I'm unclear...

I have that problem exactly, I've had like 6 dreams like that where I even say "I am dreaming" and do things like fly etc but I had no consciousness.
People here on this forum will tell you that those were Lucid Dreams, but I say they are not.
I still haven't had a real LD yet so it's a bit sad..

Technically they are lucid, but not in my book. The day I wake up from a Lucid Dream and it makes a lasting impression and memory in my head is the day I will claim to have had a real lucid dream. If I can wake up and be think, this is BEYOND normal dreaming, there was no way that was a dream, it was so real and beautiful, then I will be successful.
When I can tell the difference between normal dreams and a lucid dream, that will be the day.

There's a thread around here somewhere called "The Levels of Lucidity" Look for it, it'll explain lots. I'd link it, but I haven't been a member long enough D=
Ah, just search "super-lucid" and you should see it.

yep those are lucid dreams but I know what you mean. They don't quite feel like what a lucid dream should be. Just keep working on it, improving stabilization and with practice it gets better. And kushybear is exactly right there are definite levels of lucidity even tho some might say you are either lucid or not, they are wrong.
