Had a lucid dream maybe
I was preparing to have a knife fight with a friend of mine in a big field, in was a normal dream up until I pulled out the knife that I had selected for the fight, it was really big. When I selected it my opponent also selected a similar sized knife. When I felt the knife in my hand I could feel how heavy it was, which is not normal and then I started walking towards my opponent and I could feel my feet like I was walking up a hill with the really heavy knife which was weighing down my body. I realized that I was dreaming, or at least that I was in control of my dream body but as I looked up I went completely blind, all I could see was a white haze. Then I woke up.
Is there such thing as a half lucid, where you control your dream body, can feel everything but still don't actually realize you're dreaming?

There's such a thing as knowing you're dreaming without CONSCIOUSLY knowing that you're dreaming. It's like you have a vague awareness but you're not actually acting on it. Nevertheless, it's considered a lucid. Congrats. :)

Can you not control your body in dreams? It is incredibly rare for me to not be able to control my body and normally a tip off that im dreaming.

I don't know exactly because when I'm fully dreaming the plot of the dream seems more important that whether I can feel my body, or I just don't notice whether I have control or not. I think I was going to become lucid which was maybe why I went blind because I was reconfiguring the dream scene or something. Well thanks for the feedback anyway

That was called sub-lucid.
You indeed turned lucid with small awareness with little or no control at all :)
In addition, the very first lucids from most subjects, are brief like yours, so yes, you can count it as a lucid.
There is something called fake-lucid, but that does not apply to yours :)
