Buddhist powers?

A while ago (about 4 years) a friend and I were just understanding the whole concept of lucid dreaming through Stephen Labeargs book, "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming." We both taught ourselves to have controlled lucid dreams in about a week, I was more adaptive to WILDS, while he would have them randomly. My friend was also into Buddhist teachings and would go to these temples every once in a while. One time he brought back these very small rocks or possibly crystals and told me they were blessed by a buddhist, and if one were to eat one, it would give them visions or a higher consciousness. We both consumed these rocks or whatever it was, and it happened, absolutely nothing. It wasn't until about a week later that I noticed something very odd in my dreams that never happened up to that point, and hasn't happened since. I can recall 2 of these dreams that seemed to to be related to each other, but I know there were more.

The first dream was when I was in a hospital for some reason, and I was getting a shot of some kind. As soon as she injected me with whatever it was my ears began to buzz, my whole body started shaking uncontrollably, and then I would have the most vivid dream I've ever had, without being fully lucid.

The second dream I had I was in my car at a stoplight, when I looked to my right and saw a car filled with Buddhist monks all staring at me intensely. As soon as they noticed I saw them, one of them lifted his arm toward me and I immediatly started hearing a buzzing sound in my ears, along with the uncontrollably shaking. Not only did this happen, but he also made me levitate out of my car and seemed to be controlling me with the movements of his hand. I was paralized with fear and pretty much just let him have his way with me until they dissapeared, and I had the most vivid dream I ever had.

Whether or not these crystals I consumed had anything to do with it, I'am not sure. All I know is that the energy that flowed through me in these dreams was something I've never experienced. I have my doubts but its hard for me to ignore the coincidence of consuming these rocks and having these dreams.

Ordinarily I would think it should take a bit longer, but a week may be long enough.

The little crystals may have only been a catalyst... we can consider the placebo effect in conjunction with a kind of synchronicity. I've noticed that almost any solid manifestation of spiritual commitment is followed by a response from the Other Side. Efforts are rewarded.

But, yes, more often I would expect about two weeks to be enough time for the Higher Mind and all of the Spiritual Resources to assemble an adequate Presentation.

Yet, many Yogic Traditions that use the power of Shaktiput -- transferring Spiritual Energy by touch -- may adapt the method of touch to one of transfer through a retentive material. I knew a Guru who would put the Shakti into glasses of water. Putting the shakti into little stones is fairly similar enough.

Yet, there are Buddhists and there are Buddhists. Much of popular Buddhism is not much different from native shamimism. Notice that the dreams were not all that enlightened. One must consider whether the power passed to one is entirely Free and Spiritual or whether it comes with a spell or a charm or even a curse. Consider that many of the Tantric Buddhist Disciplines are motivated by a competitive and macho formation of attitudes. It would not be beyond these people to engage in practices of Spiritual Cannabalism. I once read a fairly scarey treatise on Spiritual Cannabalism that came out of the Tantric Buddhist foot hills of the Indus Subcontinent. To them it is all about whoever scores the most points, wins. In the West it is all about money. In those hills it may be all about spiritual conquest, not of Self, but of others.

I have had dreams in which I have put out my hand, and my enemies began to shake uncontrollably. Touching them was the final blow. I would not want to have a dream in which I was the one who was made to shake uncontrollably.

What I Learned Today:

1: Dont go to the "Tantric Buddhist foot hills of the Indus Subcontinent"

2: Dont take blessed stones from weird Buddhist people

3: run for my life next time I see a monk

4: Cheese is a dairy product

5: Hold out my hand in r/l when someone threatens me with a gun
