This confuses me, in retrospect

Last night I was lucid, and I go to stabalize my dream with my hands, and I decide nevermind, I will spin and actually go somewhere. Instead of focusing on a place, I focused on a person. I opened my eyes and did not see this person at first. I was in a car, and a few seconds later the person came in. How did this happen? I figured the first thing I saw would be this person. Any ideas about why that happened?

Well spinning tends to make you teleport. So first you teleport but because you were expecting to see the person they showed up. You essentially just summoned them after teleporting. Some people have lots of trouble with summoning so good job.

OK, thanks. Now that I think about it, my location didn't change, the car just appeared. So by spinning I summoned a person and a car.
