Not having 100% control in accidental LDs?

Okay, so.. Last Night I had maybe my first ever accidental/unintentional lucid since I started using techniques to achieve lucidity.

I haven't been trying to go lucid for a while as I don't normally try during college as my body clock is usually out of sync anyway.

I was waking up on and off during the night and I eventually somehow got into the opportunity for a lucid straight after a dream. After some trial and error I opened my 'dream eyes' and there I was on an unrecognisable highway. I decided I wanted to go somewhere where people would be. Instead of walking/running/teleporting/flying as I normally would I was pushed along by water, (Yes that's right) gushing waves took me down the road and I couldn't control or stop it. First strange difference.

Eventually, the waves dropped me off at a stereotypical fast food restaurant. I'd sort of decided in my head as soon as I went lucid that I would try to have a sexual lucid dream as I haven't been lucid for a while (nor have I had sex in about 6 months :roll:). Anyway, the dream had sort of resolved this for me and placed a girl in the restaurant who I know in real life and find very attractive. I decided I would take her out of the restaurant and then have sex with her.

I then noticed her real life boyfriend serving behind the counter in the restaurant (this is his job in real life). So, I decided to speak to him and inform him I was just going to have a conversation with his girlfriend but he seemed suspicious. I then went up to the girl and asked her if I could talk with her outside. I then planned to have sex with her once away from her friends and her boyfriend, obviously. As most people will know dream characters will do pretty much anything you want them to.

Anyway as I led her out of the restaurant, her boyfriend quickly grabbed her arm and led her away and then glanced back at me with a smug look on his face. I guess this was a lesson to me but it showed me I didn't have complete control of the dream.

After this I completely lost the drive to have sex and decided to a few other fun things before the dream ended.

Anyone else noticed they don't have complete control when they didn't mean to go Lucid?

If it was your first LD or one of your first then it is probably from lack of practice. When most people have their first few LDs they can't control everything. Once you get up past 3 or so conrtolling gets a lot easier and even if you do get lucid accidentaly, you should still be able to control it pretty well.

If it wasn't clear in the OP, I have LDed a lot in the past but I've been taking a break as it has not been feasible due to college. However, I unintentionally went lucid last night and although I was quite clearly lucid, I couldn't move around in the manner I normally would (fly) and I couldn't control the scenario as usual.
