My First Official Lucid Dream! :D

Okay okay okay, so i've recently gotten super interested in lucid dreaming, and I finally had one !

I was in the street, and then I can't remember how, but I suddenly realized I was dreaming. I tried flying, but I couldn't, but for some reason, I could jump REALLY high! :O :O x) I was jumping all over the place.

Eventually, I ended up outside a supermarket, so I went ahead and went in! I saw all these people around, and well, since it was my first official lucid dream, I was really curious. It's going to seem random, but I started poking people. Just to see, you know, what it'd be like. And they didn't mind! I had a feeling that they were like, ignoring me, but whatever. -,-" x) I tried flying again, but that failed. Ugh.

I kept poking my finger through my palm, and it actually went through! I really found that cool. (Y)

I think it was pretty okay for a first time, pretty cool, and I can't wait for them to get better, especially when I learn more about this stuff! x))

Welcome to the Dreamviews forum, and congrats!

Jumping's definitely a neat thing to do in a lucid; I've jumped down from really high places before and could pretty much leap over buildings. And it's definitely fun to bug and mess with dream characters too. xD Next time you can try manipulating the DCs to have a certain reaction when you poke them; maybe expect them to say "hey, stop that!" or something. You can make anything happen in a dream just by believing it will happen.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

HAHAHA I had fun poking them. (y) xD Oh seriously? Like, I could kick someone in the shin and if I can manipulate it well enough, I can make them say "Thanks so much, you're awesome" ? x)

OH. I love that. Next time I get a lucid dream i'll try all this stuff. Maybe i'll be able to fly! Thank youu! :b x))

Yeah, you can do that. I've "made" DCs do some pretty embarrassing stunts!

      Good luck!

I recently started myself as well, and I'm hoping to have a lucid dream soon. ^^

I love the excitement of someone who had their first LD. You just CANT explain how strange and exciting it is to someone who has never experienced it before. They always go... o_O but anyway congrats on your first LD!!!

You're lucky that you have such an easy time staying in the dream. Even once I begin having them regularly, I think waking up seconds after becoming lucid will be a problem for me for a while.
