Thread: dreaming about a place I had never been

I have been lucid dreaming for years and have never realized that it had a name. Since I was made aware of what it is, I have become quite good at it and can decide what I will dream about in advance occasionally. I was wondering if anyone has had a lucid dream like the one I had a few months ago. In reality, one of my best friends died just as he and his wife and kids were about to move into a new house. In my lucid dream, we were at his new house (which I have never been to). I spoke to him about knowing he was dead and asked how that was possible. He told me that lucid dreams is where the soul lives and where he can interact with the living. He took me on a tour of his new property. Last week, I spoke to his daughter about the dream. She asked me to draw a picture of the property. It was exactly true to reality....right down to the location of the fire pit (which there is no way I should have known they had)
