Not in my bed?

So last night I had my second partial lucid in the past week :banana: and in this one I knew exactly what I wanted to do once I was lucid... I wanted to see myself sleeping in my bed. So when I went to my bedroom I only saw my bed that wasn't made and the pillows were just as I usually leave them. I was really disappointed because "lucid me" expected to see "real me" in bed.

Why was I not there sleeping, is is because I expected to see me there?

This was the first time I actually got to do what I wanted in my dream as being lucid and it failed, also I decided to skip past doing an RC because I knew I was dreaming. I become lucid now when the dream take place in my house. This first started out as an FA from WBTB.

I think it may well be because of that. In a couple of my lucids I had something similar - I wanted to do something and I knew I can do it, but I could feel how angry and upset my subconscious was because of the fact that I managed to get lucid. :cheeky: So it would do anything to make my LD not that great and also show me that it is still in charge...does it make sense? I don't even know how I understood it, I just felt that way X)
By the way, do you often dream in third person perspective? If not, it also can be because of that - you're not used to see yourself from the side, so it was hard to model this scene. That would have probably failed for me too - I normally dream in first person.

Thanks! I usually dream in first person. I think what I need to do next is look in a mirror in dream since I have never actually seen myself in a dream before, that way it mat wirk the next time.

How much time you were lucid as it seems you didn't do any deepening?

Longer than the last time, but not by much, a few minutes.

Several times I have entered a lucid dream by sitting up or rolling out of bed, and when I looked back at the bed, I didn't see my body in it. Except for one time I did see someone sleeping in the bed. But I'm not sure if it was me.
