Just had a weird lucid dream.

So a friend of mine was sleeping over since we didn’t have school next day (today).

We stayed up to 02:00 playing video games and drinking a lot of burn (energy drink) and eating snacks.
I started listening to a halo audio book and packed a snus (a tobacco you put up in your lip).
He stayed up to 04:00 and I fell asleep when the clock was around 02:15. I woke up at 04:00. I hadn’t really slept; it was more like half sleeping. Body was sleeping, I was listening to the audio book, half dreaming about the audio book and enjoying my tobacco. It was an amazing experience : )

When I woke up at 04:00 my friend was about to go to sleep and we just talked about how great it is to be half asleep.
When I was going to go back to sleep I had problems trying to fall asleep. I stayed up for almost 2 hours trying to fall asleep. A lot of times I felt that my body and head was being pushed down to the bed (I think it was my body going to sleep).

I checked the clock and it was 05:50. I did another attempt to go to sleep, and I felt the pressure thing again. Then I started seeing weird images. At first I didn’t do anything about it and just enjoyed them (found them kinda funny since one of them was something about a spoon, very random things).

Then I figured out that I had to be dreaming since the images became clearer. I opened my eyes and yes, I was having a lucid dream. It was really trippy and I was in my room (where I was sleeping). My friend was there too, sleeping. I wasn’t sure if I was walking in real life and hallucinating, or if I was lying in my bed and dreaming that I was in my room.

When I noticed it felt like I was lying down even if I was standing straight up I knew I was having a lucid dream. And I started noticing that there were some things in the room that isn’t supposed to be there; like bushes and small palm trees. Everything had very strong contrasts and it felt like I was high. I tried turning the light on and off and nothing changed. Then I noticed that my mirror wasn’t in the right place, so I decided to take a look at it. I could see myself in the mirror, but it wasn’t exactly like me, so I thought it was just me imagining myself in the mirror and that this was normal since the mirror wasn’t in the right place.

Then I walked out of my room and started talking to my mother and step-father about how everything was trippy. Then I went down to the kitchen and started eating some fruits and enjoying how weird things were.
Then all of a sudden I was next to my fathers house. I picked up the house key we have hidden and was about to open the door, but I didn’t since I saw that it was at the middle of the night. I started walking back to my mothers house, but I fell.

Then it was like I jumped to another dimension. I was in cs: source (computer game), playing with an old school friend. I was running around knifing people, but then all of a sudden I was at my school. I started noticing that I was loosing control of my dream and I was actually holding the knife from the computer game. I just started talking to other students.
Then I just got teleported back to my room. I started talking to my friend about how insane this was, how I saw bushes and things in my room. When I walked out of the room I was in a hotel. My room was now a hotel room. Everything was trippy and I walked down some stairs and went to a buffet. I wanted to order some food and they said that they were going to make pizza, but it wasn’t open yet. They said I had to wait till 11:55 and for some reason I knew the clock was 08:00.

I was about to walk back to my room, but some police guy arrested me for fraud. At the police station (that was at the hotel) I saw that a lot of other people were arrested. For some reason I knew that everyone (including me) was innocent and we started a riot. Then the police was a Chinese mafia gang. I started holding a speech about freedom while the whole place became a large shootout.
I ran away and I had a son with me, and a guy was following us. My lucid dream was starting to get out of control and when I got to the parking lot, the guy chasing me was right behind me. Then I had an out of body experience and the father I was a second ago was another person, and I was myself. I started gaining control over my dream and I decided that I had to wake up because I needed to remember everything that happened so I could share it on dreamviews ; )

I just woke up without a problem. The first thing I did was the check what the time was. It was 06:30. This whole dream lasted only 30-40 minutes.
I started writing things down, and now I’m here, posting this weird story on dreamviews.

I have some questions since I’m very new at this.
1) Is it normal to have such a long and complex dream that only last around 30 minutes?
2) Do you have dreams that are as random as this one?
3) Have you ever had a dream where you jump from one location to another (without having control over the teleporting) and still remain lucid?
4) Did I have different types of lucid dreams all in one dream and is it normal?


And sorry for my bad English (it’s not my first language) and sorry if it’s hard to understand what I’m writing (I kinda rushed writing this one).

1. Yeah my dreams take like pages and pages sometimes when it feels like just a few minutes because so much is going on.
2. I am sure everyone has had equally random dreams
3. Yes, my dreams seem to shift, even without me controlling it. Each dream doesn't seem to last too long but at any time it can shift to a completely new environment, you kind of dream in sets almost (at least me) I shift in and out between dreams, between landscapes frequently.
4. If you were aware and maybe had some degree of control I would say that is lucid.
