      Why couldn't I move?

I was laying in bed for, maybe a few minutes, then my body felt weird and I new i was going into a dream. Then my bedroom formed around me and I was laying on my side. I did a nose pluc RC (struggled to!) and I confirmed I was dreaming. I tried to turn but couldn't, but i did see on the wall in the corner of my eye my hologram clock shining the time onto the wall so i tried to move my eyes to see the time, it was all wierd and blurry then I woke up.

      Why couldn't I move?

Most likely Sleep Paralysis or REM Atonia. Sometimes I have the same experiences.

This has happened to me a number of times. I'm not entirely sure what causes it, but I think you're hovering between waking and sleeping, at least that's how it feels to me.
