First Lucid Experience
Hey, I'll start by saying I'm a new user (woop) and that I am 16 years old. I don't know if there has been/if it's helpful for any studies or personal curiosities.
About 1 year ago I came across the topic of lucid dreaming and somewhat waived it off as I thought it was all very trippy and unbelievable, and understandably so I think :D.
Well, last night this opinion was shattered as I had my first true lucid dreaming experience, though I think a few months ago I did slip into a lucid state for around 30 seconds but thought it was merely a vivid dream. I had been asleep since 6pm until 12pm prior to the following lucid dreams.
There seemed to be no trigger for it, the first dream I could feel a strange tingling in my chest (perhaps racing heart rate?) However, a strange image that reminded me of an album cover or even a video game loading screen focused my attention and prevented me from waking.
I was then thrown full on into the dream and was lying on the floor at what seemed to be a house party and for what seemed like a minute I couldn't move my body. During this time people I know, my friends, kept looking over my body, talking, and my surroundings were changing at regular intervals uncontrollably. It was at the point when the surroundings finally set on a laminate floor in the house I realised it wasn't a normal dream. After a small struggle I managed to control my body and get to my feet alone in the house, when I looked up I could see a white door which I walked over to, opened, then the tingling feeling in my chest came back and woke me up.
Thanks to my previous knowledge of lucid dreams I realised what had just happened and did not allow myself to move too much nor open my eyes. A while later I slipped into the second lucid dream.
This time my surroundings were fixed instantaneously pertaining to an American football field and I knew I had a lot more control this time. I was behind a desk of sorts and could see a female walking across the field, at this point I remembered reading about what people tend to do when in a lucid state - becoming a Superhero/flying being the memory I manged to tap into. I attempted to fly and surprisingly it worked, only the whole desk moved with me too which is not what I intended, also it was more of a levitation than flying. Nevertheless I reached my target which was the female, the very female I had hoped it was. She approached the desk and looked as though she was going to walk right past but I wanted her to stop, and she did. I tried to touch her but I was stuck in a sitting position behind the desk, not allowing myself to get frustrated (it was more a light disheartening) I managed to move and interact, trying something of a more... Sexual nature this time and before I got anywhere I woke again with the racing heart and an erection.
I then allowed myself to wake a bit more and reflect upon what had happened in the last hour and was extremely overwhelmed, the experience is so unimaginable, so other-worldly it is extremely difficult to comprehend and because of that, was one of the best experiences of my life, brief as it was.
I understand this is a long post and if you've read this far without getting too bored well done ;). It's just that the whole experience came out of nowhere and I'd be grateful to receive any feedback, especially if anyone believes I have the capabilities to induce this state, from the brief reading I have done on this topic I believe it's rare to pull off flying (or levitating in my case) first time? Could be wrong. Anyway, thanks for your time :)

first of all, Welcome to Dreamviews!
and Congratulations on your first true LD. Not to mention the fact that you managed to levitate on your first try, I've been trying for a while and I still can't do so, well done sir.

Sounds amazing and they only get so much better. I have troubles inducing lucid dreams, but it does happen more after you've had your first. Mine were sort of random. But they started like this, I also levitated once, but I didn't mean to, lol. Flying sort of came natural, sort of like Peter Pan and thinking good thoughts. Anyways!! Good one and good luck to you! =)
