Very strange, but wasn't asleep

Last night I had a somewhat sureal experience, the kind of things that happen when your lucid, but this time I wasn't even asleep.

My friend and I were eating diner last night at a fast food joint, and when we were done he went back inside to get a refill and I was waiting in the car. I sat there just kind of gazing into nothingness and I noticed I started getting kind of light headed. The kind of feeling you get when you are just becoming lucid in a dream. I then was contemplating if this was a dream because it seemed like my awareness wasn't very steady like in a dream. I swear I was dreaming for an instant but then did some reality checks and convinced myself I was awake. It also felt as though my eyes went crosseyed or rolled back in my head when this feeling came about, but returned to normal after the feeling left. I must say that I wasn't under the influence on any drugs or alchohol, but I was kind of sleep deprived, so mabey this was a factor in this.

This is as close as I can explain to what the hell happened, it only happened for a couple seconds but it was enough to recognize that something extraordinary definately happened.

You grew faint. Blood rushing from you brains into your stomach and intestines may account for it, but you may also be correct about sleep deprivation -- it it had been extensive. Deprived of sleep and dreaming, people will be overwhelmed by subconscious content even while awake. So it is that the most successful Monastic Programs systematically screw with the sleep patterns of those who would like to think of themselves as Saints and Visionaries -- the the Visions that ensue may well be paranoid and demonic as enlightening and angelic.

But a momentary loss of physical orientation -- vertigo -- seems more as though you had a momentary rush of blood from the head -- like standing up too quickly from a nap, or... I should not remember this... like one's first cigerette in the morning.

Thats interesing what you say Leo, but I also forgot to mention something else that might be of significance.

When this happened it was almost as though I was willing myself into this state by just gazing into space. The more intence my gaze got, the more intence the feeling was. Thats what I find kind of confusing. It would make sence if this came on to me without my will, and it wasn't in my control, but it was. So I dont know. Tell me what you think

Oooooohhhhh.

They did a study once with Motorcyclers. It seems silly after the fact but they wanted to test for certain whether it was better to use a focussed scanning vision or just an eyes open kind of wide-angle Vision which you can use if you ever think of not using focussed sweeping point to point vision, which most of us do all the time.

Well, yes, the full field wide vision riders did see movement in their fields of vision and were able to keep on the road, but not as well as the focussed point by point scanning vision riders. and one of the explanations given was that the point by point focussed people said that it held their attention better. The Wide Field People said that they tended to float off... not a good thing when you're flying down the boulevard at high speed with only a leather jacket between yourself and the poles.

You may have shifted consciousness to one of your Chakras... probably your Agna Third Eye. Your Energies are perhaps alittle on the wispy side if the sensation was at all suggestive of Vertigo. As the Energy builds you should be able to go from Body Consciousness to Energy Consciousness without any sense of instability. The Martial Arts Masters and Masters of the Chi don't have trouble standing up, do they? And they spend most of their time in Energy Consciousness.

so, where do you feel your energy the most, for instance, in your forehead, the very top of your head, or the back of your head. If inside of your head, where would you say you feel it? If I don't answer you soon, it is only because I forgot where this Thread was located, and you should please PM me. I might be able to give you a few tips.

Im not quite sure what you mean when you speak of this energy. I dont really remember feeling a strong evergy in any specific point, but then again it was very short. Maybe if it happens again, ill try and be more aware of it.

Its interesting you mentioned the chakra or third eye. I've had a few dreams recently that had to do with zombie-like people walking around that had three eyes, the third one on their forhead. I mentioned this in a post if you remember. So just thought id mention that.

Well, what I was thinking was that your Kundalini is very much in your head, but needs to anchor a little bit more down below your neck. If you do not feel any sensation in your head -- and and around your brain, then my advice here might be a bit incomprehensible. but if you do feel some sensation in your head, this is what you should do: If your Energy Sensation is up in your forehead, then will it back along the top of your pallet to the back of your pallet to the Swivel Point at the top of your spine. That point is easy to locate -- you just swivel your head around, and, well, the swivel point is the swivel point. Put the energy sensation there. Point your tongue up to that point. Now, it will feel as though the energy sensation is about the size of a golf ball or a bit smaller. What you will now try to do is bring the energy down lower and smaller, as though penetrating the layers of an onion. Smaller smaller smaller -- it will take awhile. The energy will seem as though it is stuck at a particular size, then suddenly shrink down a bit more. Still you want it to center on that Swivel Point. Eventually it will be about the size of a pea and you will feel it oscillating back and forth like a pendulum. This is really the Key to Kundalini. Once you find that Spot, you can move the Energy anywhere in the body -- up to the Crown Chakra, or down to the heart, or in fact anywhere. But you want to move it down to the heart. That oscillating you feel is the top of the Heart Chakra anyway, so all you would have to do is let the energy just sink down into the Heart. That should give you a bit of stability.

There is also a trick you could use, and I've only found one other person who could do it. It is to flex a muscle in your head in order to start a roaring noise. The muscle is back there at the top of the pallet close to that swivel point, and the roaring noise is great at collecting Energy. It think it may be a reflex like rolling ones tonque or wiggling one's ears and not everybody can do it. It really is a muscle and not a mental phenomena, because it get fatigued like a muscle and you can't hold it very long.
