Non lucid -

Im behind enemy lines with an American infantry unit who are about to conduct a raid on a Taliban controlled town. We descend on the town from the hills and instantly engage in a fire fight after reaching the edge of the town. We become pinned down by a 50 cal machine gun and are forced to retreat. As this point I get lost and separated from the unit. I run into a building, up a set of stairs, and crawl into a loft area. I remain still as someone walks by me, all of a sudden someone comes up the stairs and spots me. I get an overwhelming feeling that im going to die in this building when out of nowhere the dream fades and i awake instantly
( very relieved)

Recently I've frequently had DC's knocking me out in dreams. Bloody brilliant...

I've had a few non lucid dream deaths. The first when I was very young was a reoccurring dream were I used to go to the local beach and be drawn into a hole in the sand and be burned to death.

One Christmas when I was around 10 I had a dream were I was walking over a wooden bridge and leaned down to inspect a rotted fishing rod and was eaten by a sabre toothed tiger.

My defining death dream were I was crushed by a falling building (very realistic) and went down the tunnel of light and into infinity. I was judged and woke sweating.

Were I was hiding behind a car and the police were hunting a dangerous criminal. I stuck my head out and he was a few metres down the road. He spotted me and shot me in the head. It happened in slow motion but there was no pain.

A few nights ago were I was escaping some kind of cannibal camp on the grounds of an old manor. I was shot in the back.

My first death dream I was being chased by the mafia with my brother for stealing quaters out of their warehouse, we ran into this chinese garden thing and hid under some stairs, but they found us and I covered my brother and then I was shot, and immediately shoved into another dream, where I was stuck in a house with my sister (I don't have a sister irl) and there was a ghost outside that was trying to kill us. It kept throwing blood at the windows and finally I went outside to confront it and I jumped as it was flying at me and when it hit me I exploded into a bunch of gorey bloody human pieces and I saw from a third person view all the gore hit my sister.
Another dream I had was where it was the zombie apocalypse and I was stuck in my laundry room which is below ground and has a window just at ground level. I crawled out because there was a truck on our lawn and I figured I could drive it away. I ran out there and the truck was locked so I picked up a large stone and tried bashing in the window but it wouldn't break. Then all these zombies came out of no where and took me and grabbed me and killed me.
None of these dreams I remember waking up in a shock or anything, I just slowly come too. Zombie dreams scare the shit out of me so I always wake up shaking, I've had too many of them recently lol.
Those are the death dreams that I remember.

These death dreams are gruesome.

I have just remembered one of my first induced lucid dreams where I was standing in front of this kind of female ghost. It makes me shudder like hell, when she fast flies through me. I'm still confused when she shouts out the most horrible scream I have ever heard. I feel she removed my insides when she flied through me. I can't feel my heart beating like some seconds ago. I think I'm dying, I can hardly stay stand, then I fall on my knees while everything fades to black. Then I woke up.

I had this dream where my Dad started stabbing me. As he did I heard this evil crazy laugh in the background which I think represented him going insane. When I woke up I sort of sunk into my body. It was terrifying.

That must of been scary, the psycho laugh tops it off. I remembered another death, there was a girl, about my age that snuck into my room and for some reason I couldn't move, she didn't say a thing, but she had a completely expressionless face and blank eyes and she drew a line on my chest and stabbed...

I would hate that. Not being able to move, or escape, when someone's about to kill you. Scary...

I think your's is worse, with it being your dad

I was dreaming of riding BMX's with some friends and we where riding alongside a highway road. The route we where taking was just next to and above the highway.
I was jumping for miles high with my little BMX and i kept doing that untill i missed the bike road and landed on a piece of grass just above the highway.
There was no way out of this piece of grass the only way out was by jumping in front of the cars.
I knew suicide was my only option and i decided to take a leap, my heart pounded loudly as i fell and then i woke up.

Wow, some of these are much more terrifying than mine :/
But then I kind of liked the dream with the gang kidnapping someone and pressing a gun against their head. I can imagine it being quite vivid and scary, and, sadly, possible in real life which makes it all the more difficult to make it distinguishable as dream rather than real life.
However, I would like that dream to happen to me sometime. Although scary, it sounds quite thrilling!

This was in a non-lucid, which I remember as clear as day.

I was in a graveyard-like setting, and it was getting sort of dark outside - it was around when you'd look at the sky and notice it was visibly darker than during the daytime. There were some small shacks around it, all of which looked like they were going to collapse. It looked like this, except it wasn't raining...



Anyways, I was supposed to kill a demon that was hiding in one of the shacks. I sort of had an idea of what it looked like - mostly bones with black skin stretched over it like a frame, small wings, long skinny tail with a sharp hook on the end. I opened the first door and saw a gaping pair of sharp teeth lunge out at me.

Next thing I knew, I was floating in a dark green and black streaky blur of color, and I felt numb and couldn't move. I let myself go limp and slowly curled up into a ball, as if to ignore what was happening around me (I always do this in my non-lucid nightmares, even though I'm not lucid!). I felt hands lightly touching me on my shoulder and brushing against my back. It made me shiver.

I then felt like I was being forced to move into a supine position. Suddenly I found myself in a coffin, being carried by a few of my friends, in the gymnasium of my school. I knew it was made of thick wood, but I could see through it - it was like a fuzzy, dark window to what was happening outside it. Inside the coffin, there was a thicker, liquid-type atmosphere and I found it hard to breathe. It smelled like acetone and strong-smelling copper. I was very lethargic in there.However, for some reason I really wanted to try and communicate with my friends, although I knew it was impossible to do so since I was dead!

That's one of my experiences... Actually, I'm not sure why I hadn't put that in my Dreamviews DJ earlier! I should do that sometime.

I had this FA where I woke up feeling some pain in my arm. When I see where the pain comes from, I have a huge hole where blood fast flows out of my body. I'm able to see cut muscles, part of the bone, some veins and other bloody stuff inside of it. I got really scared cause I realize that soon I'll be death and I won't be able to do anything else. While I vanish, my last thought is: "I can't die right now, cause I haven't set up my room yet..." then I woke up

Edit: Once I woke up my arm is completely numb cause I slept on it.

I´ve died many times in dreams, so I´ll just list those few I can remember right now:
-Bitten by a lion. (My dream actually stopped for a few seconds to show my last moments.)
-Frozen by a monster. (Re-ocurring nightmare from years ago.)
-Stabbed several times to the chest. (That felt like what I would imagine some stabbing you to the chest would feel, but without pain.)
-Bitten by a spider. (Bite, dream rewinds, bite, and again, bite...)
-Fell to the ground. (First lucid death. Lost my ability to fly after jumping through my homes upstairs wall.)
That was all I can remember, if you don´t count several monsters catching me in nightmares and getting bitten by my zombified sister and being shot without dying in lucids.

I have a lot of death dreams and I actually enjoy them very much.
My most beautiful death dream(from awhile back):

Me, my mom, my dad, and my friend were in a car driving somewhere through a beautiful forest-like landscape surrounded by green. Then, we came to a road that was over a lake and it was about a 1/2 mile drop down to the lake. We were going really fast, when we realized that the road was going to end right there, in the middle of the way over the lake. It was too late. We flew off the road and started falling down to the beautiful lake. The scenery was wonderful. Before we crashed, my mom said "I love you." then everything turned white and the next thing I knew, I was in Heaven. It wasn't like I had expected and it wasn't all that beautiful. We were in a building the whole time. I didn't see my mom and dad after that, but I did see my friend a few times. In Heaven, they had some boring activities planned out for us, but all I wanted to do(and all I really did) was try to fly. That's all I remember.

Then there are other deaths, many of them I cause myself by jumping off a tall building(it's fun, okay?)

this same sort of thing happened to me. i was in a car crash and i "died" instantly. i sort of "jumped" and woke up.

psycho fat lady strangled me when i was taking a dump

1. There was a woman on top of me, holding me down while smiling at me, she raised a knife in her hand and stabbed me slowly through the chest. If you can imagine what its like then thats what I felt. I woke up shortly after feeling...weird, I enjoyed the experience of such a dream.

2. I had a grenade thrown at me and it was stuck to my head and wouldnt come off.

3. Eaten by zombies.

4. This one is hard to describe...a zombie grabbed my arm....and cut my wrist with his....open skull wound....he cut it with his ..skull.. ;p

I like zombies therefore I dream of them hunting me down and killing me...

During my first lucid (Many years ago before I knew it had a name) I was being chased by futuristic guys with guns. I realized I was dreaming, but then turned around and let the future guys kill me ( I don't know why). It felt like a pressure, like someone bumped me in the place I got shot, but that's it, no pain or anything. It was followed by some weird Sepia tone dream where I had to put on a gas mask, and then I had a false awakening in my van parked in front of my house.

That's messed up yo.

I don't remember many deaths, it rarely happens to me.

Here are some that i remember right now:

1. Once i was in our house, which had no roof and there was a huge construction site inside one of the rooms, it was kinda unrealistic. I climbed up on the ladders and boards really high, then for some reason i slipped and fell down. I hit the ground in the room and my body literally started to vaporize. I've seen my hands disappear into nothing and then my whole body and finally my head, everything got black then i woke up.

2. I was in our bathroom, taking a shower, when the hot water tap got stuck and i couldn't turn it back, the water got really hot and the taps started flashing red and then everything exploded. That was the first and last time i died in an explosion.

Last Night A dream Character asked me for help and after I followed her through the city she pushed me down a open manhole...
