Discovery: The finger-counting RC works on toes, too.

I almost put this in the Attaining Lucidity forum, but I was already lucid when I discovered this, so I'm putting it here. (Mods, feel free to move if you want.)

Here's an excerpt from my forthcoming DJ entry about last night's lucid dream.

I happen to glance down at my feet and notice that I'm barefoot, and that I appear to have an unusually large number of toes, sticking out at odd angles and overlapping each other, just like my fingers sometimes do when I look at them in dreams. I look down again, and this time I see that I have eight toes in a neat row on my left foot. It makes me smile to discover that toes can exhibit the same odd behavior as fingers in dreams.

Yeah I've always assumed this is possible but it would be inconvenient to do in waking live unless you go barefoot or always wear sandals.

Yes, I became lucid once in my bathroom while my teeth were falling out. I did a hand reality check then decided to check out my feet. I had an entire foot sticking off to the side of my normal foot. I actually made a painting of this moment. I looked at the bottom of my foot, not the top.
