      3rd realisation of dream

An overweight man was in my house, he was on the couch. I went to my room, turned my back and looked around again to find that something I value had had some of its pieces thrown on the floor and some were missing. I realised I was dreaming because:
      1. This has happened several times before. (<= Dream sign!)
      2. Its silly.

But I wake up (after the 3rd in-dream realisation). The first time maybe I felt more exited as I was in the dream for a second and woke up feeling active. This time I just felt tired and went to sleep. Maybe thats because it was random that I realised that I wasn't awake - I haven't done the techniques for months.

I'm considering starting up again, just keep forgetting... can never be bothered with no success.

Ah, well congrats on achieving lucidity. Don't worry, it is common to wake up rather quickly the first few times you become lucid. Just keep practicing and expect to be able to stay within the dream state. Try not to think/worry about waking up. Nice job on catching the dream sign, btw !
