after a month and a half of trying i finally had my first lucid dream. i went to bed at my normal time and woke up around five o'clock. after staying awake for a couple hours i went to bed with the sole intention of having a lucid dream on my mind.
after being asleep for a half hour i had my first one. i was walking in a parking lot and looked up at the sky. i noticed it was pretty overcast and the thought that i was going to pick up chinese food was on my mind. after that thought i somehow knew i was dreaming. the experience was absolutely incredible! everything was so realisitic and the thought of the infinite possibilities was on my mind. the freedom was exhilerating. i remember running and jumping up in the air and started flying. i flew up past the trees and all of a sudden started getting pretty scared of falling and getting hurt. i told myself i was dreaming and could'nt get hurt but i felt it starting to fade and myself being ripped from the dream. i tried spinning really fast but it was too late and i woke up. i was incredibly happy and felt great. although it was very short it was an experience i'll never forget.
my second lucid wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still cool to me. i can't remember actually dreaming, i just heard a character from a show i watch telling a story. then he said "and when i realized i was dreaming everything got so much crazier." after hearing him say "dream" i immediately realized i was dreaming and opened my eyes. i was lying on my back outside in my yard staring up at the sky. i got that feeling i got from my first lucid about how vivid everything was and then woke up before i could rub my hands together or anything.
can't wait to have more lucid dreams and start controlling them! such an awesome thing that i'm so glad i heard about!
