      Post My 1 second lucid

      hello everyone ;D

last week i had my first lucid
only one problem it was a 1 second lucid.

I was fighing someone (I fight alot in dreams) but my punches never have any effect. The one i'm punching is always very powerfull and in dreams I never have any power in my arms. so i kept on hitting him, and then I thought: why can't I hit him? ohhh im dreaming!

and there it ended. my dream stopped there. I didn't wake up but the dream just ended . I don't know if i should be happy or not. It was a lucid after all. And it means im getting closer to have nice lucids .

Yeah, you probably are getting closer to having nice LDs. One problem, you really should try to keep calm when you first realize you're lucid. The fighting might make it harder!

Be happy! Most people wake up within seconds during their first lucid because of how exciting the knowledge of being aware that you're dreaming is. So, don't be discouraged. This means you should be able to become lucid more easily now as well. Congrats on your first LD, regardless of length.

The more times you go lucid the more times you reach normalacy and the longer you can naturally prolong the experience. Give it time soon you'll be deciding when to exit the dream. namaste.

"when you fall unconscious, what your mind expresses is a dream.
When you are aware, what your mind expresses is creativity. It creates your life.
When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation

I think your LD was actually MORE than 1 second. Congratulations though

Congrats, I'm sure they will get longer with time. They always tend to start out pretty short, did for me anyway.

Frank Kepple said he spent a long period where he realized that he was dreaming, got excited, and snapped back to the waking world. So it might be a natural step in the learning process, like everyone says.
