Talking to yourself?

i was reading the 'checklist' and on it, it said to talk to yourself (liek on the phone or in a mirror) to asnwer questions about yourself.

has anyone attempted/tried this? if so, what were some of your results?

Higher Self ?????. (Yes.....Spirits Will Appear in The Mirror).

I find that having a discussion with yourself in the mirror can be quite imformative. I don't actually speak aloud my questions but do it telepathically with my image. It's amazing the answers that can come back at you. I think by actually looking at your living breathing self while asking the questions versus just doing it in your mind say while in bed has different kinds of power to it with fast answers or results. Mirror meditation can be a little strange but I think it's interesting to do.

I typically only see spirits in the mirror when I'm tripping on something.

Well I have actually happened to stumble across myself in two lucid dreams.

The first time, I used her (I will always refer to my other self as her) as a gateway to break through to Howetzer's dream (my dream sharing target...and this can all be read about in my Dream Journal BTW)

The second time I had an FA and got out of bed and walked toward my door. Then I thought, I wonder if I might find myself sleeping in bed? And when I looked back at my bed, there she was, sleeping sound as can be. I went and sat down beside her on the bed and gently woke her up. It was so strange looking into my own eyes like that, and I could even tell that she was tired. We talked for a bit, mostly about dreaming. And then I said...I wonder if I can touch you. And I put my hand up and she put her hand up to mine, palm to palm, but my hand just went right through hers...like I was a ghost...or she was. It was really strange. After awhile I realized that she didn't have any real answers (she was ME after all) and she was really tired and passive...so I flew out the window and onto other things...

thats pretty cool. i think its more along the lines of like asking your subcouncious cause i don't relaly think you would be asking spirits. my belife is that you go striaght to heaven or hell. no middle time ; )

Once I found myself in my bedroom, sitting in a chair... My other self's neck was twisted so head was facing backwards :/

I put it in proper place and my other self aged as I was looking at him... He turned 60+ in a matter of seconds... He was dying and told me something that sounded quite important, but I forgot everything what he said :(
