First lucid where i didn't wake up right after!

After practicing for a very long time i finally did it. All i can say is wow. I still feel the rush and feeling of ecstasy and its been about 10 hours since the dream.

So i woke up around 7:30 and when i went back to sleep i found my self slipping in and out of being awake and dreaming. Finally i was in the dream and i was fully conscious. I was in my room and i quickly rubbed my hands together to stabilize the dream and it worked quite well. the first thing i did was admire how real everything actually seemed. All of my senses were fully present. i started sticking my hand through just about every object in the room. i got a weird warm tingling sensation in my hand when i did this. Then i jumped up my whole staircase in one jump. i saw my dad in the kitchen and then noticed my reflection in a doorknob. I said "Hey dad, wanna see me jump through that doorknob." He looked at me like i was insane. Then i dove right into it like it was a pool. when i was about halfway through it my body was pushed back out. I then walked out my front door. I started flying by swimming through the air. As i got higher i started going faster and switched to the superman position. Suddenly i started hearing music playing and i woke up. It was my Damn alarm! I was pretty pissed but at the same time extremely ecstatic.
Anyway at work one of my friends who has lucid dreams regularly said that i will start to have then a lot more now because the more LD's you have the more your mind gets trained to the experience. Is this true?

Congrats on having your first good lucid dream. Wasn't it an amazing experience?

As for what your friend said, you won't start having LD's magically, but since you're relatively experienced, it should be easier to become lucid.

I think part of it is once you start having lucids, you get really excited about them and go to sleep thinking about having one. I feel like this is what trains yours mind to have more just by actively thinking about what you want to have a lucid dream about when you go to sleep. But this sounds fun! I've had lucids in my house before too where I'll talk to my parents and then do something weird like fly through the kitchen cealing. They will be standing there looking at me like, wtf? Congrats

yea it is true that once you have one LD, you get motivated to try and have more and it does get easier to induce them, so be encouraged by this
