Good news! First real lucid dream, I'm a beast at flying :)

So I was at a concert, floating across the mosh pit floor. I noticed that but still wasn't conscious I was dreaming, what made me conscious was where the concert was at on the east side of the state when I was on the west side. When I thought I was dreaming I was like hm, I grab a table, did a hand stand on the table, twist, and landed on the other side. 'Yup, I'm dreaming' I thought lol, ran to the door, opened it, saw the moon and blast off! I jumped and started doing the classic super man. Flying at speeds prolly 100mph I was cruising with a lot of body vibrations(is that normal for a lucid dream? or could it had been A.P.?). Flying at the moon I had a negitive thought turn me off to the idea, so I stopped, floating in several hundred feet up in the hair I was about to start meditating then thought no I can do that when I awaken lol so I continued flying around. I could only fly in straight lines, because I was turning and tilting performing actions without the conscious intention of turning/curving my flight path. So next time I'm going to perfect my flying. I landed on the ground and my aunt just finished writing me a full page of info, my intuition told me it was the rules of life. I grabbed the paper and was going to go in my own area to chill n read it. I jumped ontop of the house and my aunt morphed into my mom(been deceased for a few years) and I said 'Mom! Isn't this f**king awesome!' lol shes like yeah! And she wanted to read the paper to me, and I felt it was only for my eyes to see/to read. So I said 'f no' when she asked to read it to me. On the roof already I jumped up, started flying up and it all started to fade out on me. I tried rubbing my hands together to create that sensation but nothing was happening. I thought, oh great Imma end up in the room and bam there I was in the hotel room I was sleeping in. Then slowly began to awaken. Thats basically the summary of it lol

Congratulations! That's something I've yet to experiment with myself, but it sounds like so much fun from the way you described it.

if rubbing your hands doesnt work, try another stabilizing method like spinning in place, touching the walls, or falling backwards, one after another until your re-invigorates. right on though on your lucidity!

I've been doing reality checks an uncountable amount of times daily for the past few months and have yet to experience a DILD. I've experienced one DILD 6 months ago and woke up a few seconds after because I became to excited lol. Anyone have any tips or anything?
My process: Pinch nose, try to breath. Try to push finger thru hand. How did I get here?
Been doing that prolly 10-15 times a day

DILDs for me happen when, instead of doing random reality checks, I do it to stimuli that is in my dreams, and in reality, and when I focus very intently on it to see what is really happening. I learned this when I did nose pinching, and could breathe through it, and thought that it was just because I wasn't pinching tightly. Also I'd do it a couple times in reality, because I noticed when I was dreaming, sometimes it take a little while for the lucidity to initiate, like an engine starting up. Don't do many RCs now, just cause its a pain, and people look at you weirdly. People already look at me weird enough, so I don't need to inspire anymore weirdness. Around where I live, people think LDing is some sort of illness, that would probably need to be treated by a psycho-therapist if they had any say in it. Fucktards if you ask me, but, I don't care to take the time out of my life, explaining how lucidity actually enhances your life, giving you more control over it, more awareness, so I just don't do any RCs, and am searching for a passive way to induce LDs.
All of experience is fun for me, whether in a dream, or in reality, because I love existing, learning, and continuously evolving and sustaining. Then again, who knows, I may not enjoy existing so much if I caught a face full of buckshot from an angry farmer. But hey, at least I'd got out with a bang.

To thor, I would reccomend you read up on ADA (All day awareness) as it brought about my first LD in a while. I notice that in my dreams, I usually dont become lucid from doing a RC, but I actually become lucid because I noticed something wierd in the dream, which is what ADA is about. I perform the RC afterwards to make sure. None of my LD's have come from doing a RC first. and to Moto, I would also suggest reading the ADA stuff if you havent already, if you don't want to do RC's. Also another good but hard to learn method is WILD'ing, which is what I do most of the time.

Thanks for the tip lawilahd, I've been waking up now knowing and learning how to recognize the feel of the dream. Just havn't had my brain awake to go 'hey, I am dreaming lets do some stuff!' because a lot of the time, my subconscious knows its dreaming but doesn't do anything, doesn't make me conscious. Its like my only luck is from WILDs

I bought a lazy brownie and 2 paul mall relaxation drinks. I'm going to take those(crap load of melatonin) and then go to sleep with my time on. I hope to have atleast 2 if not 3-4 luciddreams or something atleast experiences

Aww thats a bummer lol. The only time I can't fly is when I'm awake haha . Do you hold fear of heights/falling? You must know you can do anything. Your own limitation is your own imagination, doubts limit
