Really weird dream and I feel guilty

I had a weird dream last night and it freaked me out. There is this guy (let's call him Matt) who was an OK friend. But it's been 2 years since I spoke/saw him. I always thought he was really smart/witty and I guess I sort of had a crush on him. I recently got married and I forgot all about Matt.

But yesterday I had a dream that Matt is suddenly back in my life and he is hopelessly in love with me. In my dream he kissed me and told me that he loved me. He looked so confused and worried that I would reject him. In my dream I keep thinking "this is crazy, I am married", but I don't say that to Matt. I just look at him and think how smart he is!

Now I feel really guilty for dreaming this. Why did I suddenly dream of this dude I totally lost touch with? So confusing!

It's normal to have desires outside the real world, don't worry about it, it's just your imagination.

Its funny, my girlfriend a while ago had a dream where she was with this guy from highschool that she wasn't even really friends with, he was like her "boyfriend figure" they laid on his bed and kissed, and in her dream suddenly after they kissed she remembered that she did have a boyfriend, and it was me, and she felt super guilty about it.

When she told me, I started laughing, because it really isn't a big deal (I had a dream where I kissed another girl too, a girl I was friends with long ago but haven't spoken to in years, and I felt guilty about it in my dream! I even went searching for my girlfriend, in my dream, to tell her that I had kissed another girl and I felt bad about it) I thought it was super cute that she felt guilty about it even in her dreams - and after looking up some interpretations of it, I'm still not sure what my dream meant but her dream actually meant that she wanted to inject some more passion into our relationship (something she actually tried the night before her dream).

Its your subconscious telling you something, as long as you don't go out and actually kiss him there's really no problem with it!
