Experienced flight to the edge of the universe!

Meditated and asked God if the books my mother wrote were true.She claimed to have been spiritually instructed the meaning of every verse in the book of Revelation.Caused her to be institutionalized for two years because "You are talking to God daily and saying he is in the room with you."After asleep I knew I was in a dream.After attempting flight many times always with no control and crashing back down to earth :( I had to try again.I shot straight up and soon I turned around with hands and feet facing our beautiful blue planet like a U with my back facing deep space.Earth got smaller and smaller to a dim dot then dissappeared.Passing planets, stars and the galaxy turned into a dot and dissapeared also.Feeling so alone in deep space, but very happy I continued at an unbelievable speed always facing earth as I did not want to get lost.Many,many countless galaxies passed until I was in a new galaxy forming with stars being born everywhere like beautiful Hubble photos.I knew this was the edge of the universe and if I go farther I would come to a super bright light after this universe.I somehow felt or knew also that if I enter there was no return.I felt God's presense.I also felt that this was one of many many universes all like rubber balls floating in an arena ever expanding in a bright light. I was so close to the bright white light I felt. So much color and beauty...then I woke up.I left out some details because of space, but the general picture is here.I truly have fulfilled the ultimate flight :)

Well done! You really make it sound like such a thrilling experience - I like the way you managed to describe space and the beauty, something I'm not really good at :P That's really excellent though, with control like that I think you'll have the confidence to control anything :)

This might've not been a dream, since you describe all the spirituallity and such.

You could have been having an Astral/Etheric Projection or an OOBE (Out of Body Experience)

This is basically when you're Astral or Etheric body leaves your physical body or shell in order to go to a various destination.

Usually Astral and Etheric Projection is on a different plane than the physical world unless physically done otherwise.

A lot of religious and spiritual groups believe in the power of the five bodies(Astral, Mental, Physical, Vital and Etheric)

In projections there is a high tendency that you will see places not capable in dreamscapes.

This sounds awesome. This is the kind of thing I want to experience through my journey into mastering my ability to lucid dream. Hearing something like this give me so much motivation to endure the dry spells and failed attempts.:mrgreen:

Wow man that was amazing! Sounds like you were at the edge of our cosmic horizon! Sounds like your experiences suggests multiverse theory and many other metaphysical ideas. The best i've done in a ld is getting to the edge of Earth's atmosphere. Hopefully, I will reach the point to where I can experience a ld of such scope and complexity! Congratulations.

That's an AWESOME dream!! It's really catching my attention how many spiritual dreams are popping up in front of me in this place!!

I had one, lidybug had one, my friend Kelly had one, my friend Jessica had several over the years.. It's really cool to be part of this "awakening" :D
