Very weird first DILD!

First of all Merry Christmas Dream Viewers! Hope you're enjoying your holidays!

The other thing I wanted to discuss was a special christmas gift, my very first dild this morning! It was around 6am, my alarm went off and I woke up. I did a reality test then dosed off again. Woke up a few seconds later, rc, dosed once again. Woke up a third time after a few seconds, did a nose pinch and guess what, I was breathing clearly, I was lucid!

So as soon as I sit up I have this very weird tingling experience, it was so strange it's hard to put into words and I saw stars at the same time. Another thing that was totally strange was that as I sat up, can clearly see this very small triangular symbol in the upper left corner of my left eye. It looked like it had very small writing inside of it, but I couldn't make it out. So I get up and I can't stop doing the nose pinch to make sure this is a dream. Then I do a poke through the hand test and it worked...somewhat it felt really strange.

I make my way through the hallway to get downstairs, and everything seems odd, distorted like a funhouse mirror effect. In addition, I feel my body moving very sluggishly, almost like I'm walking underwater. As I go down the stairs, I'm getting very excited to get outside the house to explore. When I reach the bottom, I see my mother in the kitchen...then I wake up IRL cuz I had to use the washroom.

Well that's it. Now I wanna know is it just me or have any of you experienced any similar weird things in your lucid dreams?

I have never experienced what your describing. Although it sounds more like a WILD to me. DILD would be, when you are having a regular dream and you suddenly realize you are dreaming and then do some RCs to confirm. But that doesn't make it any less cool :)

Congrats on your DILD. It is always cool when you find out when you're dreaming. I agree with gab though, it did sound more along the lines of being a WILD than a DILD. Either way its a LD though. :)
