That's interesting because I had a similar experience. Supposedly, in my dream, it was the second coming, so we all gathered around a spot in the mountains. There was a light and everything, and Jesus came down. We all kneeled as he walked passed everyone. He had a hood on, so I couldn't see his face, but then he came and stood right in front of me, so I looked up. Then I looked up to see a distorted face that had that evil aura about it, like you described in your dream. I woke up, and I had a hard time sleeping for about a week. I've heard of other people having similar dreams and sometimes wonder why. Anyway, like you said ... these aren't dreams that come from the Lord.

I had one dream about Jesus/God (and I am not religious) when I was about 11 or so. It was not a lucid... but it was scary because it looked like a war under the earth... Fire, soldiers (atleast I think) and God came to me... I was terrified out of my mind, because communitcating directly with him is terrifying. He told me that he would love me no matter what I was... I knew what he was speaking about (and that is personal)... but its a dream (and still I am not religious, but do belive in God) that I remember to this day.

I belive in spirituality, but religion is somthing I struggle to grasp.

The ideas of relision however, hold enormous amounts of power. It wouldn't supprise me if many people feel or know deep inside that they think God would be dissappointed with us.

But does our creativity and achievments overcome what we have done to get there?

Either way, I think this auror of evil is not based on the anger of God, but by misinterpretation. Once the dream has ended though, it's tricky to return and see if there was more to it....

But then if sephiroth tried to fill the picture with positive energy, it must;ve been something deep.

It sounds interesting, i have never had an LD like that (and i do not wish to)
but i have had a DC that have had a powerful aura (and i am not a great believer in aura's)
I can only remember seeing him once he was just watching what i was doing, maybe it was some sort of guardian?

I think Christianity really freaks you out, and the dream meant that there is no way you can get around the fact that Jesus, who according to Christianity is also the God who flooded the Earth, killed people for bizarre reasons, and created a reality with evil, Hell, Satan, and the possibility of being tortured forever for questioning his infinite love, is a really freaky figure to you. It is a scary concept to you, and your dream represents that there is no way to think around that. I think you couldn't create a nice Jesus in your subconscious because deep down you don't see the idea that way.

I honestly do not mean to offend anybody with what I just said. I hope I didn't, and I am fine with Christians, for I used to be one. I am just saying what I think the dream meant. I have been freaked out by Christianity since I was a child. My worst nightmares ever have been about stuff like that. If we are living in the universe described by The Bible, I'm sorry, but we are living in what in my opinion is a very terrifying place. I am an atheist now, but the childhood imprints have not gone away completely.

I honestly can't say, what that was all about, but I think you should ask someone with someexperience IE a dream interpeter or maybe even a minister if it continues to bother you/

Well i think that no one than you can find the meaning of that dream. Have you had spiritual problems lately, or lonelyness in that area?

Sometimes stuff can be just random thinkin but that looked like very symbolic to me.
