Brief lucidity.

I believe I went lucid last night for a moment, but something in my mind wanted to "go with the flow of the dream."

I was back in 8th grade in a "World War II" class (which I never took in middle school) and for some reason, I was extremely happy. In particular, I saw an old friend who moved away and have not seen for over four years. I thought "This is obviously a dream." for one moment, then I went with it.

People from my past were entering the room. Something inside of me wanted to correct past mistakes. Suddenly, I became highly social and was talking to people, even flirting with girls. Prior to this, I took the class seriously and asked the teacher (who was completely made-up and had no involvement during my actual middle school years) for the required materials. During 8th grade, I was a highly depressed individual and found everything to be meaningless. Thinking about it, there's a lot to say about the human desire to go back in time knowing what you know now. I believe my dream reflected upon that precisely.
