Thread: Potential guide to show me my Dream Guide

In short, I forced a female DC with a gun in my hand to open a door to show me my Dream Guide.

No one appears on the other side, just another door leading somewhere. I thought in my mind that they'll be on the other side, but before I could even think the female DC opens the door.

I meet a guy who looks like the chain snatcher from "Everybody hates Chris"

I asked him if he's a GUIDE (but not necessarily a DREAM GUIDE, I think I still had some doubts).

He doesn't say "Yes" to my question, he answers in questions. In fact, they were questions I knew he was going to spew out...now I'm just left with more questions since my last dreams where DCs who were gingers or a lady in a red dress with brunette/black hair.

Whatever works, but you could probably just ask nicely y'know

In my personal experience I've been searching for my DG ever since I started and have tried so many different ways to try and get something to happen, and met a lot of DCs along the way. The first DC I ever met was a large black man who I actually saw again, but when I first met him I asked "Are you my dream guide?" and he laughed and replied with "No, of course not. When you find your dream guide, you will know."

After failing to summon a DG, I started to interact with my DC's more - especially after they started to tell me I was dreaming. Much like you, my DCs seem reluctant to answer any questions I have - and just beat around the bush until I change subject or go finish a different task. I think perseverance and time will help a lot, try and find this DC again later and see what happens, perhaps

Awesome experience, Linkzelda! Like Dark_Merlin, I'm still on a.. 'quest,' if you will, to find my Dream Guide. After that, I only hope to get lucid every night xP

You will know when you find it.
Although find it may be the wrong word, coz mine, and everyone's story I've heard, seems to indicate that they will find you. Or show themselves to you anyway.
Mine just manifested unexpectedly in a dream and I haven't seen him since.

Thanks tommo. The lady in red showed up twice in my dreams unexpectedly, it's just I was being ignorant of actually paying attention to her. (The lucid where I was in school and saw a girl in a red dress, I was this close to asking her questions, but other DCs distracted me).

And she was beautiful, I don't know how I fell for an ordinary DC instead of her >.< I just have this one track mind that if I contribute to caring about finding my DG, maybe they will show up when they realize that I'm actually trying to pay attention to the events in my dreams rather than ignoring them.

It's always good to get input from other people, thanks everyone, and I'm always open to other's beliefs on DGs (if you believe them that is).

I once had a dream where I fell in love with a girl with vivid red hair, really want to meet her again.

A weird thing with my lucid dreams is they tend to be slightly lonely affairs, my non lucids tend to feature a diverse mix of people I know and invented DCs, but most of the time upon becoming lucid most DCs simply disappear without me even noticing

I'm definitely gonna dedicate a month to interacting with DCs quite soon, who knows, maybe I might even find my dream guide.
