A Dragon's Lucid Life Stories

In any case, the dream I had that lead to me wanting to research dreams as well as write my series was incredibly vivid and heart breaking. I wasn't even in the dream technically, and I knew it was a dream, but it was as if I were watching a movie play out in front of my eyes. The area was a destroyed city, with rubble piling up everywhere along with the dead citizens. I could see every blood stain, hear the moans of pain, and smell the strong scent of blood. Above the city was a massive storm cloud that crackled blue and red with energy, with the sheer power of the thunder shattering windows that have yet to break. The cause of all the destruction as well as the storm was a single woman.

This woman was in her late 60's from the looks of it, and was floating in the air with her hair whipping about her. The main details I remembered about her was her stern face, her piercing green eyes, and the tears streaming down her face in anger. This woman was throwing powerful balls and bolts of energy down at a pair of people that were coming towards her quickly.

The first was a woman in her late 20's wearing completely decorative and golden armor, with angelic wings coming from her back. She also wore a golden mask that covered her eyes completely, and I innately knew that she was blind. She also had a blade at her hip, but wasn't holding it because she was carrying the second person.

The second person looked like the exact opposite of the woman. He was a man that was also in his late 20s, but donned a pitch black robe that looked scarred from battle. He also had a mask on his face, but it covered his nose and mouth. I knew from then on that he felt incredible pain in his jaw.

What happened next was spectacular. The pair got closer to this God-like woman as she fired shot after shot at them, but missed every one. Right when they got to her the man extended his fist as a retractable katar came from his sleeve as he stabbed the woman and expended a lot of pulsating dark energy. Once this happened the woman screamed in a pained voice that bounced around my skull for some time until she violently exploded with a massive shock wave of energy. This sent the other two plummeting downward.

As they fell a number of changes could be seen. The woman had lost her wings as her armor started to fall apart piece by piece. This happened to the man as well as I noticed that he wore leather armor underneath. At some point the woman's mask fell off as she was crying in joy. She could see again. The man, realizing this ripped his mask off and saw that his jaw was fixed. In excitement they embraced each other in mid air before sharing an incredibly loving and passionate kiss...

The last thing I saw was both of them crash to the ground and die.

I woke up crying, and knew from that point that I had to write about it. It started off as one book, then two, then four, until I finally stopped at a six book series. From that point on I had researched and partook in lucid dreaming. Since starting I have met all of my main characters and had extensive conversations with them, as well as try my hand at a large number of abilities. It was the best time of my life, and I'm still writing that series even now. Sadly due to stress, the lucid dreaming had stopped a few years ago, but with my life in order now I'm going to pick up lucid dreaming once more, and experiment with more abilities, and apologize to my characters who I know were sad that I left them.
