Highly vivid LD (possible new technique for vividness?)

Earlier this morning I was skydiving in my dream and thought, "funny, I don't skydive." So I did a couple reality checks and had a lucid dream :D But what was interesting was that this happened when I was half awake, I was still dreaming but I was concious of my surroundings in the waking world. I saw in my mind's eye some sort of a "vividness meter" and it was set at 1. Then it just unconciously rised up to 50, and it was as if I was pulled into the dream, like it wrapped itself around me into full blown vividness and lucidity.

Has anyone ever tried something like this before? It would be interesting to try in the future, rather than trying to order your way into more vivideness, just change it with some device.

That's cool, I should try that out. I was recently flying, and wanted more vividness... so I yelled clarity, and it kinda cleared up... then I yelled MORE clarity, and it got REALLY nice, bright and colourful, but then clouds appeared and I could only see a little bit of that stuff behind it all... Maybe a vividness meter is just what I need hehe.

That is one of those things i want to try out!... to kind of "program" the dream world so i can have differnt "programs" that do differnt things. Like vividness.

I want to try that, it sounds awesome! What if I brought up a meter that said "speed" and set it to the max while running? Maybe I'd break the sound barrier!

Excellent idea! That technique could be used on all kinds of aspects, like beauty, ecstacy, strangeness, relaxation, philosophical enlightenment, sexual arousal, happiness, music quality, physical sensation, etc.
