Hypnagogic imagry sounds fail A.K.A WILD FAIL

ok so last nighti woke up like 5 times for some reason. I was peeing in the bathroom one of the times and I went back to bed, exhausted from waking up so much. So then I'm falling asleep and I know it would be a good time to do a wild.... But dumb me decided not too because I didn't wanna hear screaming and scary whispering ( no sarcasm) . I never had a WILD before and earlier that day I wanted to so bad. I've never even been in hypnagogic imagry stage. So I'm falling asleep and I hear a door creaking open very slowly...... I have no idea why I didn't react. I was so tired I didnt even notice.... Yet I noticed. It's hard to explain. Anyway a few seconds later I heard it again. I knew nobody would be up in my house at 1:30. I just ignored it and fell asleep. So now I'm kicking myself for being an idiot. I don't know why I am posting this I guess I just wanna say I'm one step closer to a WILD I think....

The more you think about scary HI, the better the chance that they will happen. Don't be scared of it, you may never get them. I got them only twice, once it didn't scare me at all, and second time, I wasn't even WILDing, just doing some breathing excercises. I think you are freaking yourself out possibly over nothing. Try do do WILD on a day, when you can sleep in, so it's daylight, or leave a light on in the bathroom. (I have nightlights, cause I'm a scaredy cat).

Gab is right, I have never had any scary HI before, in fact, I've only ever heard one loud bang and seen crude images behind my eyelids. Point is, you might not even get frightening images and sounds. Since I use the CAN-WILD technique I transition very quickly so I guess there's not enough time for much in the way of HI. I used to be afraid that I would though in fact, it prevented me from trying WILD for a long time. I finally braved it though only to find I was scared for no real reason. So keep trying, you might even enjoy it.
