First Lucid?
So yesterday I took about a 2-3 hour nap, around 4:00PM to 6:30PM. The dream I had was very unique compared to my other dreams. I seemed to have had a lucid dream inside of a dream, but I'm guessing I just had 2 false awakenings. So when I took a nap, I entered a dream where I was at my house. There were guests over that I don't recall ever seeing in my life. I was feeling a bit tired, so I headed upstairs and decided to take a nap. I then seemed to have had a false awakening and entered another dream. I was walking up the stairs in my house, and I saw that one of the stairs were distorted. That was what got me to realize that I was inside a dream. So I tried breathing while plugging my nose, and I could.
I felt like I was about to wake up, so I quickly ran outside and tried to fly. I managed to get a few feet up, but then my vision started to blur and twist around. Everything was all shaky, and then I falsely woke up into another dream. It felt as though the previous dream was a dream within that dream. Then after a bit, I woke up back into reality. Whew.
I'm not sure if that made sense, but I'm very pleased that I got to experience that dream. I'm not really sure, but I'm hoping for another.

If you realized you are dreaming, that was a lucid dream. So congrats:) Are you practicing any method? happy dreams:)

I guess that dream qualified as a DILD, since I went lucid within the dream. But I usually practice the WILD with WBTB. It has been nearly 2 weeks now, and I think I've made a good bit of progress. But that dream definitely brought me more motivation.

Yeah, you can't go without motivation. I'm sure you know, that if you do WBTB with WILD and even if it fails, you have a much greater chance to get a DILD, just because of WBTB and you thinking about it as you falling asleep. I also practice WBTB and I try to WILD, but happy with a DILD too. Happy dreams :)
