Peculier nightmare

Ok so earlier i woke up incredibly relieved because i had a terrible realistic nightmare. But it didn't have monsters chasing me or people trying to kill me. So the dream started out in what seems like a prom and i saw my friend, i walked up to him and then a shooting started. My friend was shot in the lower stomach and i guess he died but then i was at my house suspicious because i thought it wasn't real and he didn't die. So i started doing research on recent shootings and then relised we are both in middle school to going to the prom would be impossible. And if it matters there was a part of the dream where i was in one of my classes and we had a new student :p
