      Irony and dairy dream recall?

well first..for the ironic thing...I had recently dreamed that I was in my house (not lucid) and a girl asked me too fly. I replied with " I used to be able to fly but not anymore..maybe that's why I can't fly in my dreams." lol

and for the dream recall thing...well it's said that dairy products help you get lucid dreams. and this morning..I woke up and could not remember my dream. I was pissed as hell at this. Then I was eating cereal and Milk and as soon as I ate the first bite, I suddenly remembered my dream. So dairy products help dream recall I guess.

First I think that if you believe you cannot fly in a dream you won't be able to. Next time you want to, try to push that other thought aside (what other thought?? Exactly...) You can fly, you can do anything you want in your lucid dreams. Believe it!

Did your dream have anything to do with the milk? Has this happened more than once? If it has or if it happens again I would be interested to know. Oh yeah and was it whole milk, 2% or fat free?

/me goes and buys milk... I need some anyway!

Notice that this may be an instance of the Goddess/Oracle Archetype. Asking you to fly was clearly an invitation for you to take a bit more energy in the pursuit of your Spirituality. Your answer was that you couldn't or that you were not ready. But you yourself noticed the irony in your answer.

Anyway, now that you know you have Positive Spiritual Patronage on the Other Side, you might try doing something to live up to your promising spiritual potential.

I think that it's true. I ate two cheese sandwiches the night before having my third lucid dream. I remember when I was very young and my mother used to tell me that I would have nightmares if I ate too much cheese before going to bed. I always thought that she only said it because I used to eat a lot of cheese when I was young, so as to stop me eating so much, but perhaps it does help with dream recall and / or intensify dream experiences?
