frequent object moving dreams

This hapens to me a lot, late at night (or early morning) i will be laying on my bed knowing I left the tv remote on my desk but too tired to get it, I eventualy fall asleep. In the dream, I notice the remote is next to me so I change the channel put the remote down where I found it. But then I wake up shocked to find the remote still on my desk. Or some other object that I can't find will show up in my dreams, I will use it temprarily, then wake up shocked. Is that normal? Because it happens almost once a week.
