Lucid Dream or not?
I think i had my first lucid dream today. I was just having normal dreams, then i was in a store and i did a reality check, looked at my hands, put my finger through it and i could breathe through my nose. I think i became lucid i started to walk and it felt like i was walking through quicksand for the first few steps. Everyone was from my old school, i talked to someone i knew and told him to remind me when i was dreaming (did that too a few people) i started feeling everything and rubbing my hands together. I tried to fly but i counted and i wondered why. I convinced a dream char that he was in my dream. that was funny :D then i tried to go to the mountains of Tibet through spinning around and imagining it. I dint work. Then everything started fading into black and i started feeling my body and i woke up. (that was a experience!) Then i woke up and i felt like i was still in a dream. (i was not) That seems like a lucid dream. But when i woke up i realized that i dint have full control in it. And i didn't feel like i was all there if you know what i mean. Felt like part of my consciousness was gone. Was this a lucid dream or a dream?

If you knew that it was a dream, then it was a lucid dream. The whole part of having control, defines a lucid is a HUGE missconception :)

So in a lucid dream you don't have full control over your actions?
Also could it just have been a lower level of lucidity?
Never mid i re-read what you said and i get it now. BUT it is possible to have full control over your dream and have it feel almost like real life right?

Yes, that's just a very vivid lucid dreaming. Sometimes dreams can actually feel more "real" than waking life but it's extremely hard to describe, you just have to experience it yourself.
