FRESH MEAT!!! First LD in Months!!!
I am in a grocery store. Behind me are waist-level freezers full of all sorts of frozen things. In front of me are waist-level tables with assorted breads and other baked goods. My sister is beside me browsing through the merchandise. Suddenly, as I am staring at a pack of bread I realize I am dreaming! The thought: "I've never been to a grocery store like this!", comes bursting through the cloud of fog. As I turn to my sister, she is looking at me saying "What are you going to get?" I look back in satisfaction, "I don't know, but I am dreaming!" Without waiting for a reply, I turn and begin looking around the store. From the bread aisle, to the grains, meat, dairy. I walk around the entire store until I am at the front registers. A woman I work with is a cashier at this store. She is speaking quite loudly to a customer with a bag in his hand. She is yelling at a small man, whom by now was cowering in front of her, "You stole! Now you are fired!" At that moment, I man behind me begins to insult and belittle me. Then he tries to hit me, I defend myself without hurting the man. After I walk away from that man, I leave the store with my sister and the dream ends.
So, this LD has been a long time coming. For about a month now ive been consistently practicing dream techniques and I believe its beginning to pay off. Not only is this an LD, its also a very high quality LD. It wasn't very high on the vividness scale, but my self control was stellar. lol. Usually in LDs, I will fly, fight, fuck, or any other exciting f-words before actually becoming aware. This time, I successfully became lucid and remained completely calm throughout. That is a huge step for me.
