Vitamin B6 and vividness
I thought I'd share a recent lucid dream with the DV community. I think I may have found something wonderful, in fact, I know i have. I was doing the WBTB method, I'd already done the 60 - 90 mins awake period and had already had one lucid dream that night. I decided to check my B6 and find out if it really works. i sat up in bed and took two 25mg pills. then went straight back to sleep. (with WBTB i dont do any method whatsoever because i have multiples DILDs anyway using wbtb)
The point is: all the time before this id been taking the B6 before id even got in bed at around 11pm at night, i hadnt noticed a thing. But in REM, and when ur aware ; WOW its vivid all right!
i awoke to lucidity in my dream. I was in a big garden in the morning, i heard the birds, i felt the gentle breeze, i was in total coordination with my body. totally aware. I could see the clouds every atom of every piece of gravel on the ground, the colours of the flowers.... everything so real! I focused on the trees, and i walked around them with my goddamn mouth open in amazement. I circled the tree examining its leaves staying where they were meant to be in a rotating network of branches and leaves, swaying slightly every few seconds in the wind.
what's in this B6 stuff! SHEHAT!
has this happened to anyone else? Ultra-vivd dreams? when using B6? I think that maybe taking B6 during the awake period is a good idea ppl. thanks for reading!

Yeah I know exactly what you are on about ive had this level of detailed vividness its like how you'd look at life if fully enlightened or something.
So you take the B6 just b4 you go back to bed. Cause ive being taking it before I go to sleep. But I notice a sensation in my body the moment I take It so it must be a fast working pill. Thnxs for your info. I only have 100mg pills, so I should take just the one pill I think.

I'm a B6-er as well so I thought I'd share my method.
Usually take a B-Complex vitamin in the morning (time-released capsule) just for overall health purposes. It contains all B vitamins in a 50mb dose.
At night, sometimes I'll take a 100mg B6 with a 250mg Magnessium tablet (magnessium works with the B6 - look it up for more info). This I'll do about an hour before bed - give some time for the vitamin to get into the system.
I just about always get a positive response from this vitamin combo (very vivid, not necessarily lucid, dreams)

hmm...this is itneresting..i'm taking a B complex...but it only has 2mg. I have noticed that my dreams are more vivid of late, recall is stronger, and i have had one lucid dream. Have i just got lucky or is the B6 actually working???

thanks for your replys guys. I think what the difference is that when you're lucid you can really appreciate and notice every single detail. It sure is vivid. I have a B - complex too & I'll be sure to try what you're describing Tornado Joe
