Steampunk Alien Invasion (First Lucid dream)

I've been having a lot of techy alien dreams lately, so I guess my mind finally realized that these are recurring dreams. So, I had my first lucid dream, sorta.

Well, I don't remember much of it because I didn't record it when I first woke up. First off I remember I was in a VERY large empty parking lot near a bay. Then I realized there was an asteroid flying across the sky. I said "HEY, LOOK". Then I heard the boom go off, and suddenly I see about 30 more things flying across the sky, but the opposing direction. They were cylinder shaped. It seemed as if there was a big leader type ship, with a lot of little small ones following. Then, they started scattering across and blowing stuff up. At the time I was panicking, so I decided to take cover, but then my brain questioned the reality of the scene. So, I pinched the skin on my hand, and didn't feel any pain. Although, I did feel the pressure. The first thing I tried to do is fly, so I ran and dived foward, not realizing that there was a police car right infront of me. Then, my body just floated infront of the police car. Next, my dream skipped to me in some type of brass cage that was very steampunk like. I imagined it was a alien cage type thing and I remember giant arm gun was shooting at me in the cage, but it couldn't get to me.

That's great, congrats on your first LD! That's a pretty cool dream too. I saw the word steampunk in your thread title and I had to read this post.

A giant arm gun was shooting at you? Do you mean the gun was the arm of an alien/robot? Very strange indeed. But a very exciting dream! Lots of explosions and flying things, very good.

Thanks, and imagine a giant robot arm laser gun, but instead of it being a laser, it was a piston.
