      Lucid counselling

Hello, just for a start I'm new. *waves*
I mentioned to some of a few of the members on the chat room that I used to be quite heavily lucid, but adolescence kind of took it away from me. I've started to become lucid again, overcome my fear of sleep paralysis and things have gone okay, but I don't actually try at it anymore because it won't work with my rebel of a subconcious mind.
Today, I went to sleep at about five something, tired but with a little hope of becoming lucid (my timezones GMT) went to sleep, dreamt (non-lucid) woke up, then I went into the lucid stage (thats how I always kick it off). Realising lucidity once I had become, I was able to get whatever I wanted after a few RTs which in the dream I laughed at because now they seemed so unreal and rediculous. Whatever I thought I wanted and the way I think of it 'requested from my dreamscape' I got...but the dream turned sour. The mood changed and I lost control of the dream. The dream became very negative. If anyone here feels they can 'break out' of sleep paralysis before its full effect (the way it 'feels' but it might not actually be the case), well I wanted to break out of this dream. I woke up, but it felt as if my REM was at its peak because I began to fall into sleep again, my head humming like electricity. The second dream I woke up from after the usual lucid stuff and occurances happening which usually occur after spinning (though I didn't spin; would have made it worse for me).
My head was humming and I didn't want to go back to sleep. It was a little scary. I could feel my body wanted to go back to sleep and I kept moving my head as to 'snap out of it' but, as I mentioned, it felt like a peak of REM. My head was buzzing louder, the room started to move as if dizzy more the harder I tried to keep my eyes open. Now all I wanted was to rest but witout the lucidity!!!
My eyes started to roll quite vigorously but I held them open. I was half awake and half asleep so this may in reality sound exaggerated.
I eventually sat up in bed, but I was so tired my eves began to sort of vibreate again, my head kept buzzing despite the loud party the neighbours are having outside and my body, 'was attempting to' take me back into sleep.

A sudden noise from my surroundings fully woke my body up (because I was already concious), so I could now rest and enjoy my rest without getting a conscious dream.
Up to half an hour after the dream, my surrounding felt a little unreal because of some sort of dream 'aftertaste' as if left a mark. I'm a little dozy now because it didn't happen too long ago.
Felt like a wrestling match to me. What went wrong? I was fine at the start. I haven't added everything as it was constant pulling out and falling into sleep but the fun didn't last long. I don't want to leave the possibility that I could have a good dream but that was just scary and I don't want to experience it again.

      Welcome

      Hello Natasha *waves back* Welcome

It sound like you may have had a lack of confidence in your dream. You had obvious control at the beginning of the dream. All was well. When things started to turn sour, you had bad feeling manifest out of control.
To me most emotions are enhanced during a lucid dream.
Maybe if you had reashured yourself that it is only a dream and I am in control, it may have stabalized and given you back more control to turn the dream backinto a good dream.
