My 6th LD [I'm not quite sure?]

hello everyone.

it's about 10mins til 7am wher i am at and I have a story to tell you...


This happened about 10mins ago..I'm a bit confused if i was LUCID Dreaming, or if i was just "Dreaming" about wanting to be Lucid....


[ Dream ]

I dont know how i got here, but i ended up on this street in my town.. I remember it being a little gray outside..and i told myself in my dream

"If I were Dreaming, I could run and jump through this buidling....and end up on the otherside"

NOTE: at this point of my dream, It was kinda like.. "I made myself, run and jump through the building"

So i ran and jumped toward the buidling and sure enough,i went through it and to the otherside on the patch of grass--I could see myself "Go through the house" and i ended up being like "Yah that was wicked" And i stood there...

NOTE: This is where i am unclear....

I remember walking and my eye sight was bad so i said "Clarity Now!" and i said that a few times, until my eye sight got to a weird normal "CLEAR" vision..And right after that I said "Lucidity Now!" And i could feel that sharpness of like everything become more "Real" but it wasn't like it was in my last LD where like it was a "Shap" quick feeling of more REALISM.... But i still told myself to stay calm....

So after saying that, i remember telling myself in my head that

"Yes, now i can go on to Dream Views, and say that i had another LD"

I didn't do no reality checks or nothing like that, but i remember just going around..being excited..I dont know if i was in "Control" of my dream because i never stopped and figured it out..I just remember letting my "Dream" take me around..and I ended up by this body of water..and seagul's were flying around..and i remember telling myself

"If i was LUCID, i could make myself go to a tropical island, and be on a beach on a sunny day!"

But i never tried doing it cuz i knew in my dream--telling myself in my dream-- I didn't wanna try to do anything that random, just in case i woke up..Also i saw the Seagul pretty clear..and i kept walking around for a few more moments,and i woke up.....

Now the thing i dont understand is..is I told myself in my dream "If i was dreaming..I could run and go through that building, no problem.." And i made myself do that..like i was "In control there" and when i came out the other side..That's when i started saying "Clarity Now!" about a couple times and i kept feeling a "Sharpness" and my eye sight kept getting better..And i yelled out "Lucidity Now!" and i felt a sharpness of REALISM there, and i also remember thinking..Calm Down..

Now im a little bit skeptical if i was "LUCID" through my whole dream because i never stopped and like tried to make sure...Last night before i went to bed..I took 2 pain pills that causes drowsyness--i took them for my mouth---and i fell asleep later around like 2am


Alright so the moral of this all was...I "Made" myself go through that building..to basically "Let me know" that I was dreaming---can i say that was an RC???--and after i got through to the other side i said "Clarity Now" and "Lucidity Now" All i remember is going around being excited that "YES now i can tell people on DV that i had another LD" that was like one of my main concerns at the time....And when i ended up by that body of water i was like ":Yah If i were Lucid, i could make myself go to a tropical Island" I knew i was thinking that and i was thinking about closing my eyes, but i didn't want to cus i would have risked waking myself up...

So my question is

Was i LUCID or was i dreaming about LUCID dreaming?


I would like you all to reply to this cuz i dont want to count it as a LD without being 110% sure...the moment in the dream where i jumped through the house and did CLarity Now and Lucidity Now....I knew i was dreaming...cuz i jumped through the house to let myself know i was...

So with that..I guess "I count" it has a LD, but the thing that makes me think it wasn't, was cuz i just let myself "Go" with the dream where ever, and when i go there i kept going back to "Lucid Dreaming" things..like "If i were LD, I could..." blah blah..so tell me what u all think

in cases like this, it's really up to you to decide whether you want to count it as an LD or not. personally if i was unsure, i wouldn't. if you didn't stop and realize "HEY, this is a DREAM, i'm dreaming RIGHT NOW" i just wouldn't count it...it's possible to have non-lucid dreams that are very vidid, and it's also possible to have non-lucid dreams in which you have control over things you can't normally control. but unless you realize and understand what state you're in, that you're asleep and dreaming, then it's not a lucid dream.

I had a somewhat similar experience this morning too...I was dreamin, can't remember about what now...then woke up and started scratching behind my dogs ears then drifted back to sleep, but it was like i was dreaming..but i wasn't lucid but i kept saying tomyself in the dream, 'gawd i wish i was lucid right now', i woke up and had the same thing again...weird...i knew i was dreaming but it wasn't lucid....

DJ...I say congrats on another lucid dream man!! Just because you didn't do any reality checks or stop and say HEY I'm Dreaming...doesn't mean you weren't lucid. You recognized that you were dreaming...used verbal commands (good job btw)...and controlled part of your dream. This would count as a semi-realistic lucid.

You see there is a wide array lucid dreams. You can have a semi-lucid that doesn't feel extremely real but you still have alot of control to say, jump through buildings and what not. Or you may have no control. Or you may have extremely realistic vivid lucids where you have little control or full control. Anything can happen. I bet if you would have done a reality check you may have become even more lucid and it would have felt more "real". However, b/c you took medication that made you drowsy this is probably the reason why your lucid wasn't AS LUCID as other ones you have experienced. When I have taken medication like depressants (alcohol, painkillers, anti-anxiety, etc.) then my lucids are always semi-realistic and a bit foggy but that doesn't mean I'm not lucid.
