Last night I had a lucid dream. I wasn't trying to have one and I knew very little about lucid dreaming before the experience I had last night. I decided to look it up on google to learn more about it and that led me to this website. In the dream I was standing on a beach. I couldn't see the ocean, just sand stretching out before me. Off in the distance on the horizon line I could see something but it was so far away it was hard to tell what it was. I began to think that this thing off it the distance must be the ocean and I started to walk towards it. As I got closer I could see it begin to take shape and realized that it was a tidal wave/tsunami. I could see a huge wall of water rise up into the air. This wall of water was enormous and terrifying. I turned around and began to run away from it as fast as I could. As I was running I started to see little tidal pools of water in the sand around me, I could see that the water was purple in colour and shimmering. I also saw purple water spout up from holes in the sand like geysers. As I was running I started to realized that this couldn't be real. I don't really know how but It suddenly dawned on me that I must be dreaming. I stopped running and remember thinking if this is a dream then I am in control. I turned around and faced the wall of water that was chasing me. It was alot closer now than it had been in the beginning but still quite a bit away. As I stood there facing it I could see it begin to dissipate and then dissolve away to nothing. After seeing this I knew I was dreaming and I wanted to see if I could think of something and make it appear. I thought of a teacher I had when I was in school who was a really hottie. I waited and was disappointed when nothing happened. I began to walk along the sand again and then I heard someone call my name. I turned around and there she was. I began to walk towards her. When I got to her I woke up. I think the excitement of knowing I could control my dreams and that I was about to get down with the Mrs. Robinson of my teenage years jolted me awake.
