Lucid Dreaming? Or Just A Dream About A Lucid Dream?

This happened a while ago so I don't remember the details but...

I woke up checked something on my computer, and decided to go to sleep again, where I had a "lucid" dream, woke up again checked on my computer again, and repeated this cycle three times before realizing something was off when I was awake, which unfortunately caused me to wake up for real.

Do the dreams where I thought I was lucid count as lucid dreams? Or not?

In your dream did you think "I am lucid" or "this is a dream."

Once I thought if I do this task then I will become lucid. I finished and nothing happened, I thought I am lucid! but then someone came up to me and undid the task I had done to be lucid. This confused me and I did an RC. I then really became lucid. So that could be, but it depends on what lucid means in the dream. Normally dreams abruptly stop when I become lucid. Sometimes I just go with them though.

If you thought "this is a dream." Then it was lucid.

I did think to myself, "this is a lucid dream" and just based off that it was a lucid dream, but I was still using the same weird dream logic as usual and I don't think I had nearly as much control as I thought I did in the dream. It felt like my dream self was having a lucid dream and my normal self wasn't involved. So yes I did say "this is a dream" but I don't think it's as simple as that.

That said, maybe it is and I'm just overthinking it, idk.

On a related note, if you think you are daydreaming when you are dreaming does that count as lucid? Since that just happened to me.

Yes. It just is so low dream control. It happens though.
