Pretty happy
So i had my first ld in ages :),I quit lding because I was getting like 3 nightmares a week because I was thinking about them more (i guess) ,here's how it went.I was walking with someone ive never seen irl but he was a friend in the dream and i walked round a corner and saw a giant robot thing i was like 0.0 then i realized i was dreaming :D,I thought ohsnap made myself super strong and destroyed the robot with my feet :D after that was all over i went to the chippy (in my dream idk why) after i went back to my house and just practiced trying to make stuff appear fly eventualy I thought mhhm wonder what the time is irl so I woke myself up :D.When I woke up i was just so happy idk why.I think I'm going to start lding again just because it makes me happy :D

Yeah, if you thinking about nightmares, or you are going to bed scared, angry, or just in not a good mood, you are likely to have some bad dream. Try to watch some happy video on youtube, some beautifull place, listen to your favorite song to get yourself happy and content. Then as you falling asleep, visualize your happy place, or a nice previous dream. The last thing you think about just before you fall asleep is likely to set the tone of your dreams.

Hey man when you start having nightmares, if they are pretty surreal or stuff that wouldn't normally happen in real life, use that to your advantage.
Know when that comes upon you again you are dreaming!
Once Freddie Kreuger appeared in my dream and it snapped me in to realising I was dreaming straight away!

Congrats! I too had my first LD in awhile last night as well. :) Just keep practicing and there will be more to come!

Write up dream journals so people can read about your experiences! Every time I have a lucid dream as soon as it ends I go on my computer log in to DV and write up a journal. It also helps a lot with dream recall.
